so, on Wednesday I did not go back and pick up the prescription. I dropped if off at 2:30. The pharmacy is down the street from Jake's school. Well, he gets out at 3:20. Thats why it being ready in one hour would've been great. But NO...they said an hour and a half. No reason to drive home just to turn around and go back and get it. I decided just to pick it up on Thursday. Well, you know the drive thru had a long line. I thought it would be quicker to go in! Not so much! Finally got to the counter and gave her the name on the prescription. She goes to the bin and looks. No prescription! Asks me the name again...checks the computer...checks the bin...checks the computer...walks around the pharmacy...verifies with me when I dropped it off and the name again...checks the computer (I'm thinking she's checked the computer 3 times and obviously its not shown to have been filled!). Finally I told her "if it makes a difference it will be in the safe." She goes the pharmacist...they open the safe...and I'll be - there it is! She comes back and I told her usually there is the paper form in the bin w/no medication and then they know to go to the safe and get it. She tells me..."by looking it up on the computer we can tell by the medication name if its in the safe or not." Ok thats all fine in great...you looked at the computer 3 times...your a pharmacy technician...why did I have to tell you its in the safe?!?!?!? Yeah, not so sure if CVS is the best place to go! I've had problems the last couple of times I have been there! Might have to rethink this!
